The Language of Your Chart

Your reading is written in plain words, no jargon. But the tables at the top hold the raw symbols. Here is what each one means.

Sun

The conscious self: who you are at your centre, your vitality, and where your focus naturally goes. The part of you that wants to shine and be recognised.

Moon

Your inner emotional world: what you feel, what you need to feel safe, and how you react instinctively before you think. Mood, comfort, and belonging.

Mercury

The mind in motion: how you think, learn, talk, and connect the dots. It shapes your communication and the way you take in and pass on information.

Venus

What you love and how you love: attraction, pleasure, taste, and the people and things you draw toward you. Relationships and a sense of what is worth having.

Mars

Your drive and heat: how you act, assert yourself, chase what you want, and handle conflict. Energy, courage, and the engine behind ambition.

Jupiter

Expansion and opening: where life tends to grow, where you are generous or fortunate, and where you reach for meaning and more. Appetite for the bigger picture.

Saturn

Structure and demand: where life asks for discipline, patience, and responsibility, and where you meet limits before you earn mastery. The slow work of becoming solid.

Uranus

Disruption and freedom: where you break routine, rebel, and need room to be your own person. Sudden change and originality, sometimes as a jolt.

Neptune

Dissolving and dreaming: where the edges blur, where you long, imagine, and sometimes lose clarity. Inspiration and compassion as much as illusion.

Pluto

Depth and transformation: where life intensifies, and where power, control, and profound change live. The slow, unstoppable process of being remade.

Aries

Direct, fast, and eager to begin. Courage, initiative, and a taste for the fresh start, acting first and refining later. Life is met head-on.

Taurus

Steady, sensual, and patient. Wants comfort, security, and things that last, moving slowly but rarely off course. A grounded, unhurried strength.

Gemini

Quick, curious, and talkative. Juggles ideas, questions, and connections, thriving on variety and exchange. Lightness, wit, and a restless mind.

Cancer

Tender, protective, and deeply feeling. Cares through nurture and belonging, and guards what and whom it loves. Emotional depth and a pull toward home.

Leo

Warm, expressive, and proud. Wants to be seen, to create, and to lead with heart. Generosity, flair, and a need to shine.

Virgo

Precise, practical, and improving. Notices the details, refines what is rough, and serves through competence. A quiet drive to get things right.

Libra

Gracious, fair, and relational. Seeks balance, beauty, and harmony, weighing every side before it commits. Charm and a strong instinct for partnership.

Scorpio

Intense, private, and penetrating. Feels everything deeply and wants the truth beneath the surface, keeping power in reserve. Depth and the capacity to transform.

Sagittarius

Expansive, restless, and honest. Reaches for meaning, freedom, and the wider view, always half-packed for the next horizon. Optimism and a hunger to explore.

Capricorn

Disciplined, ambitious, and enduring. Builds slowly toward mastery, respecting structure, time, and earned authority. Seriousness and a long game.

Aquarius

Independent, inventive, and contrary. Thinks for itself, questions the given, and cares about the wider group more than the crowd's approval. Originality and a cool distance.

Pisces

Dreamy, compassionate, and porous. Feels the mood of a room, longs for the transcendent, and softens the line between self and other. Imagination and deep empathy.

01

Self & Appearance

Who you appear to be: your manner, your looks, the first impression you make, and how you start things.

02

Money & Resources

Income, possessions, and self-worth. What you earn and own, and the value you place on yourself.

03

Communication, learning and the passing on of what you learn, and siblings. The realm of everyday exchange.

04

Home, roots, and family. Where you come from and the private ground you stand on.

05

Children & Creativity

Where you put a version of yourself into the world: children, sport, being on a stage, any performance, and creativity.

Work & Health

Daily work, routine, health, and the body. The ordinary machinery of your days.

07

08

Friends, networks, and groups, and the protections you receive from them. Your place in the wider circle.

12

Inner Life

The hidden, isolation, and loss, and your relationship with what is transcendent. The interior beyond the visible.

Conjunction

Two planets that support each other and work as one, reinforcing whatever they touch. The tighter they sit together, the stronger that support.

Semi-sextile

A very strong synergy between thought and action. Subtle and easy to overlook, but highly effective where it works.

Sextile

A positive, willing interaction between two planets. It opens ideas and opportunities, working more in the mind than in action.

Square

One planet interferes with the other. It often starts with a false promise or a bait that ends in frustration, yet that same friction is a real opening for growth.

Trine

Enthusiastic, informed cooperation. Things happen easily and fortunately here, though sometimes with too little friction to force any growth.

Quincunx

An immediate problem that can be overcome. Getting past it asks for adjustment and deep change, and it often ends somewhere favourable.

Opposition

Tension and contradiction. One planet tends to work against the other, though usually less harshly than a square.
